Ortnevik is on the western side of Norway, located on the south bank of the Sognefjord roughly half way along. The closest major city with international connections is Bergen. Ortnevik lies two and a half hours north of Bergen.
For our location please click on the link above. Our farm is in the part of village known as Brekke. Our cabins are on the mountainside in the forest, 2km from the bay, overlooking the fjord.
Høyanger is the closest small town and lies on the north bank of the fjord, a 30 minute ferry ride away.
Vik is further in the fjord on the south bank. The only way to Vik from Ortnevik is by ferry, a 40 minute ride.
Førde is the nearest large town, and with ferry crossing to Nordeide takes just over 1 hour.
Bergen is two and a half hours away to the south.
